Having spent the last seven years building the reputation and trade at Tynemouth Golf Club I felt it was time for a new challenge.
An opportunity arose to work alongside the magnificent St Nicholas Cathedral in Newcastle and Dog Leap Café was born.
Our motto is ‘fresh food made to order’ it is something we pride ourselves on and alongside the daily menu we provide catering for all occasions such as birthdays, Christenings, funerals or society meetings.
Alongside our menus we also sell a range of Dog Leap Deli items including chutneys, dressings, pickles etc with pasta and other dry goods to go with our fresh fruit and veg section.
I have a very diverse background having worked in Michelin starred restaurants, been Yorkshire Chef of the Year and worked with some famous industry figures including Gary Rhodes in Edinburgh, 190 Queensgate, the Michelin Bibendum, the Chelsea Arts Club in London and even a stint on Richard Branson’s private island, Necker in the Caribbean.
